Production Manager

Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

1. Production Planning and Scheduling

  • Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams for efficient planning.
  • Optimize processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

2. Productivity Improvement

  • Identify and implement strategies to boost efficiency and yield.
  • Analyze processes to eliminate bottlenecks and leverage automation.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Collaborate with QA to uphold food safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on food safety regulations and best practices.

4. Staff Management

  • Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff.
  • Provide performance feedback and maintain a positive work environment.

5. Inventory and Stock Management

  • Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.
  • Implement controls to minimize waste and optimize costs.

6. Cost Effectiveness

  • Develop strategies to reduce production costs and enhance profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvement.

7. Equipment Maintenance

  • Oversee maintenance and repair with relevant teams and vendors.
  • Ensure regular maintenance for optimal equipment performance.

Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in food production management.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality control standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Good collaboration and communication both internal and external relevant parties
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management.
